Georgie and Strijder took their excellent form to the Derby Meeting at Hickstead and produced two more eye catching performance in the 6yr old age classes. After jumping a very nice double clear to finish in sixth place in the qualifying class, Georgie and Strijder were in super form in the final, held in the main International arena, again jumping a very impressive double clear to finish in 2nd place, just failing to catch Shane Breen and COR DELA ROSSA Z.
Georgie also brought Luidelle to Hickstead and jumped and nice double clear in the 1.35m Open class. Georgie is keen to keep Luidelle on the go and this very talented mare continues to look in great shape.

GEORGIE'S & LUIDELLE IN GOOD FORM AT SOUTH OF ENGLAND SHOW
Georgie & Luidelle produced a top class performance in the Grand PRIX at the South Of England show last week. This very talented mare was only jumping British Novice last July and has made tremendous improvement over the last 11 months. With Georgie deciding to step up Luidelle after a string of impressive performances, this big jumping mare took everything in her stride to jump a very impressive clear round just finishing with one time fault. Georgie was absolutely thrilled with Luidelle and is looking forward to a successful summer with this talented mare.
Stridjer continued his excellent form with another good effort in the Grade C event finishing a very good fifth place. After qualifying for this years HOYS Newcomers Final, Strijder will continue jumping in the this grade for the rest of the summer.

Georgie & Strijder took their excellent form to Towerlands Park and produced three outstanding rounds to win the 2010 HOYS Newcomers qualifier. After two impressive rounds of showjumping to get into the final jump-off, Georgie and Strijder were simply brilliant in the jump off winning the class in most convincing fashion. This hugely talented six year old is starting to show his true quality and currently looks one of the best six year olds in the country. With the HOYS Newcomers ticket safely booked, Georgie will be aiming Strijder at Grade C and age classes through the summer.
GEORGIE'S HAS GOOD START TO SUMMER SHOWS
HERTS COUNTY SHOW
Georgie took three horse to compete in the Herts County Show HOYS Grade C qualifier at the weekend (29th/30th May) and all three performed with great credit. Over a tough course and heavy rain Strijder and Luidelle were in great form in the first round both jumping very impressive clear rounds. Webalia G, who was the last to go of the three, looked to be joining her stablemates in the jump off, but was desperately unlucky to have the last fence down. However, this progressive 7yr old again showed that she is very talented and has a bright future.
Luidelle was unfortunate to be first to go in the jump off and with Georgie not pressing too hard, looked to be setting a competitive time but just had the last fence down, a very tall upright coming off a tight turn. Strijder, who looked in great shape in the first round, again showed what a talent he is. Despite being the youngest horse in the jump off, and against some very experienced campaigners, Georgie and Strijder were brilliant in the jump off and only just failed to get into the top three qualifying places finishing a very creditable fifth. This young horse has done nothing but improve and Georgie & Ryan are very excited about the future for this special horse.
ROYAL WINDOSR
Georgie enjoyed good results with both Strijder and Webalia G at the 2010 Royal Windsor Horse show. Strijder was again impressive in the 6yr old age class jumping double clear to finish 6th and showing the huge potential he has. New recruit to the yard Webalia G was another in excellent form jumping double clear to finish 2nd in the 7/8yr class. This very scopey mare should enjoy a good summer and is part of an exciting squad of horses Georgie and Ryan are putting together.
GEORGIE'S YOUNGSTERS CONTINUE TO SHINE
LUMMEN
Georgie enjoyed an extremely successful show in Lummen, Belgium. All the horses performed well - Luidelle V came into her own and showed that she is ready to tackle bigger tracks by jumping the 1.30 classes clear. Although Luidelle (by Luidam) is 8 years old she was a relatively late starter and didn't really start her jumping career until last summer (Hickstead 2009) when she showed how talented she is. Since then she has progressed beyond belief and will be a competitive horse for the future.
Webalia G, who joined Georgie just a couple of weeks ago grew in confidence with her new rider and jumped in great style around the 1.35 classes. Georgie has great hopes for this 7 year old and will be aiming her for the 7 year old classes this year.
Strijder again showed fantastic form. He took equal place four times in the age classes and Georgie certainly has great hopes for the future of this outstanding young horse.
Melanie is a 5 year old Darco mare who has had very little ring experience. The continuous jumping for two weeks helped her immensely and she made steady progress throughout the show taking equal first place twice.
WALES AND WEST MASTERS
The sun shone at Wales and the West and so did Georgies horses. Strijder was equal first on the opening day in the 6 year old class and took second place in the 6 year old championship. Strijder answered every call and Georgie said that even though she didn't win the class she could not have asked anymore from him and she wouldn't have expected it!
Tanine a 10 year old mare (currently for sale) took first and second place in the Newcomers classes. Georgie is very pleased with this mare and has had some good wins on her throughout the winter months - she would make a great amateur horse and would be very competitive up to 1.20.
Koosh a 5 year old gelding by Darco took equal 1st place on the opening day along with Melanie in the 5 and 6 year old class. Koosh has a good technique and is a stylish jumper. He has been produced slowly and is now ready to join the rest of the team.
Luidelle again produced some super rounds being well placed in both foxhunter classes. Webalia G again showed just how well she and Georgie are bonding by jumping a fabulous clear round in the 7 and 8 year old class on Saturday.
Georgie continues her excellent form on the Sunshine Tour
As the last week of preliminary rounds draw to a close and the finals taking place next week - Georgies young horses have excelled themselves. Argus has been the only five year old horse on the Sunshine Tour to complete the prelim rounds without knocking down a fence. Unbelievable, considering this young horse had little experience before he went out to Spain and had only jumped up to Discovery level. He has completed five weeks of continuously clean jumping and has been willing to learn throughout his time at the show. Strijder has not been far behind him - with only two fences down throughout the whole show he has proved to everyone what a star he is. Georgie has benefitted greatly from help at the show from French Olympic rider Michel Robert. Georgie has always admired the way Michel works with his horses and said he is amazing to watch. To work with him has been extraordinary and something she will never forget.
Georgie has excellent start to Sunshine Tour
Georgie started the Sunshine Tour with her young horses this week and they did not disappoint. Both Strijder and Argus jumped double clear on the opening days and both horses were well placed. Argus competed in the 5 year old section and Strijder in the 6 year olds. Both horses held their own against strong competition and will hopefully continue throughout the next five weeks. Strijder has continued to improve throughout the year with every outing. He was superb at the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken last year and thoroughly enjoys getting on the lorry to go to a show! He is by the stallion Olivier who was ridden successfully by David Macpherson before being sold to America. Argus is by VDL Empire who is by the world famous stallion Emilion. Already this grandson of Emilion who jumped at successfully the highest level, is showing himself to be both scopey and careful. Emilion is proven to be one of the best stallions for show jumper breeding.
Cyntias Heartbreaker and Luidelle started the tour on Friday with Cyntias Heartbreaker jumping clear both Friday and Saturday. Luidelle was a little ring rusty on Friday after a long break but this inexperienced 8 year old showed that she could keep up with the rest by producing a foot perfect round on Saturday. Luidelle joined Georgie last summer but had very little ring experience. She showed enormous talent and produced some beautiful clears rounds at the Royal International Show at Hickstead. Due to her inexperience, Georgie did not want to push this highly talented mare too quickly and concentrated on her flat work throughout the winter months. Spain is her first outing since last summer.

Georgie in good form at Unex Masters
Georgie brought two horses to the UNEX MASTERS at Towerlands Park last week and both performed very well. Georgie's young star Stridjer jumped in the 5yr old classes and continued to show he is going the right way. After a short break Georgie will be concentrating on the winter novice classes for this very talented young horse.
Georgie had her mare Illonaise de Cabdulla for the International classes and both were in great form being placed in every class they jumped. Without doubt the hightlight was being placed in the Small Grand PRIX (you can view the video here...)with Georgie having a real go at chasing down a very fast time set by Matt Sampson, but unfortunately they had one pole in the jump off and had to settle with a very good placing. This very fast mare will no doubt be competitive in all the classes she jumps during the winter and Georgie will be looking to win some nice classes at the upcoming premier shows.
Georgie and Stridjer impress in Lanakan
Georgie has been thrilled with the progression this little horse has made over the last few months. Having shared the prize fund at Addington for the British Bred horses, jumping three consecutive clear rounds at the show, Georgie and STRIDJER almost repeated the feat in Lanaken but unfortunately had two fences down on the third day. Georgie is very excited with STRIDJER and is certain he will prove himself in the future. Georgie will aim to qualify him for Newcomer Second Rounds next year, attain his double clear Foxhunter for the year after and also aim for some six year old classes. STRIJDER is having a well earned break at the moment but will be out contesting the Winter Novice Classes at the Premier Shows.
Georgie also has a fabulous 4 year old - Applaus who has been very consistent in the novice classes he has jumped to date. He has excellent breeding and this follows true to form should prove another exciting prospect for 2010. To highlight how impressive STRIJDER has been this year he has just been selected onto the BSJA's Equine Pathway Scheme.
Georgie eyes the future with her young stars

Georgie continues excellent form
Despite the loss of Wonderboy, Georgie came very close to qualifying for the 2008 Horse of the Year show at the wild card qualifier at Unex Towerlands. Wasting little time Georgie swept to victory in the first of three qualifiers onboard Baltimore, showing a clean pair of heals to her rivals. Despite an excellent sixth place in the Grand Prix, Georgie narrowly failed to qualify for the top two places but none the less put in some excellent rounds of showjumping.
Moving on to the fabulous venue at Aintree, Georgie again had an excellent show finishing a very good sixth place in the Grand PRIX qualifier having no luck after jumping clear in the first round, with a very unlucky pole in the second round.
Georgie says goodbye to Wonderboy
As tends to happen in showjumping, horses get sold by their owners and unfortunately Georgie lost her fabulous grey Wonderboy. Georgie has worked wonders with this talented grey and deserves all the credit in the world for producing him as a top quality prospect. Although heartbreaking for Georgie, she has now acquired the 2005 Hickstead Grand PRIX winner Alfredo and is really looking forward to working with this undoubtedly talented horse, but Wonderboy will not be easily forgotten by Georgie.
Georgie produced an excellent performance to win the Area 45 Trail at the South of England Showground in Ardingly riding Ryan Crumleys Baltimore. Georgie has been riding Baltimore since July and they are really striking up a very useful partnership and Georgie looks forward to winning more events on this very talented horse.
Georgie wins Surrey County Trial
Wasting no time in building on his excellent performance in the Herts County Show, Georgie and Wonderboy produced a fantastic display of showjumping to win the Surrey Area trial. In a very competitive field, Georgie was in determined mood to make up for her unlucky Herts outing and she made no mistake this time. Wonderboy showing all his scope sailed over the fences and then won a fiercely competitive jump off. With consistency now the key for Wonderboy, Georgie is now hoping for a great summer with her eye catching grey.
Georgie has no luck at Herts County
Building of his very encouraging sixth place last week in the Renault series, Georgie and Wonderboy again showed that they are back to form with a faultless display of showjumping. Over a very big and technical track (only 11 clears out of the forty five entries) Wonderboy looked at home over the big fences but having jumped the water in magnificent fashion Georgie had to get “Basil” back before taking on the very wide oxer that was the last fence. Basil sailed over the fence but unfortunately in the process of getting her huge grey balanced before the last cost Georgie one time fault, one tenth of a second outside the time allowed!!! “Such as shame”said Georgie “He jumped fabulous and didn’t deserve that, he’s really starting to jump well now and hopefully we can use this as a springboard for the summer” added a delighted Georgie.
Georgie gets off the solid start in Renault Series
Georgie got off to a very solid start in the premier Renault series at Devon County. The premier County circuit event of the summer, Georgie and Wonderboy were in excellent form finishing a good sixth behind Geoff Luckett in the first of this very popular series. Georgie has been very patient with “Basil” this year and he does now appear to be coming back to form.
